LATE MODEL CHEVY TRUCK:  This guy had brake troubles as soon as he turned the first corner. Upon removing the right front wheel we quickly discovered his problem.  The vise grips on the bleeder didn't help him one bit.  Next time come here first.

2001 Pontiac Firebird 5.7L:  This one came to me with a busted rack and pinion steering gear.  The owner stated that the vehicle wasn't wrecked.  I am not sure if anybody else has seen this or not but I haven't in over 20 years.  I am sorry I didn't get a picture, the aluminum housing was busted right where the rack meets the pinion.  There was a big hole there and needless to say the steering was very sloppy and slipping during hard steering.

1990 Ford F-150 5.0L:  Wipers inoperative simple right?  This one was a little tricky but I narrowed it down to the wiper motor and that's what fixed it.  I think what made it tricky was the fact that it has a wiper governor located behind the wiper switch and it was making a "ratcheting" noise like a relay clicking very fast.  The noise really made you think the governor was bad but not the case this time.

1998 Ford E-350 5.4L:  This one barely made it through the door the engine was missing so bad.  The MODIS scan tool indicated a misfire on cylinder #5.  Good thing #5 is an easy one to get to.  Removed the spark plugs because I know it gets lot's of miles and little maintenace.  The spark plug was one of the worst I had seen.  Checked injector pulse with noid light and verified injector ok.  Checked ignition coil and it seemed to have good spark with coil tester.  Replaced plugs (they all were bad) however the vehicle still missed on #5.  Double checked injector and coil, both checked good.  Replaced coil based on experience and deduction then the misfire was gone.

2004 Chevrolet Express 3500 6.0L:  This one came in with a severe coolant leak.  I pressurized the cooling system and verified the water pump was leaking.  Replaced pump and all was good under the hood.

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L:  Turn signals were inoperative but the hazards worked fine.  When diagnosing this one make sure you look at an electrical diagram of the combination flasher.  If you assume like I did in the beginning that because it has a combination flasher and that the hazards worked that the flasher must be ok you will be wrong.  Anyhow there are seprate relays or contacts in the combination flasher so it is possible for one to work and not the other.
